Well it is hammering it down with rain and sleet outside the studio, and I am painting the countryside in summer, there's irony for you. Anyway if it snows it will give me ample opportunity to take some photographs and come up with some ideas for paintings. I have decided to call the exhibition at the Capital Gallery, Eltham, THE SCENIC ROUTE. The exhibition runs from the 3rd February-Satruday 11th February 2017. Keep an eye on the website for when the preview evening is.

I have just been painting in my studio in the garden and have finished several paintings, but boy was it freezing. My wife thought I was frosty the snowman when I came in from working.
